Orange County Virginia was established in 1734. One of the most famous homes in this county is Montpelier, the home of the fourth President of the United States, James Madison. In the small town of Orange you will find St. Thomas Parish Church built between 1833 and 1834. Or enjoy the views of nearby battlefields. In addition to a stroll through the city limits while enjoying the small shops you can stop by and visit the Giant Nutcracker head. There are wineries and small restaurants for your enjoyment.
